Where other than Philly can a Phillies player have a dreadful game with like 4 errors in a game, get caught on video saying “I fucking hate this place “ & the next night get a standing ovation because he owned up what he said and didn’t make excuses or try to sugar coat it!
Bohm is a *great* example. Fans let the comment go b/c it was just his emotion coming through and he kept working like crazy to improve his fielding. We stayed with him.
John’s letter is dead on and as speaks for me! Everything he said from the press’s lazy narrative about Philly to wanting to see passion from our players in what is deemed only a game! Everyone should read this and know who the fan base really is and expect in return from our teams.
